Another point isthat porcelain is made from porcelain ore, while pottery is made from clay.Another explanation of China is that porcelain is as famous as China abroad. Themost representative porcelain is in Jingdezhen, which is known as the capital ofporcelain. Even "Jingdezhen" comes from porcelain. In ancient times, becauseJingdezhen was located in the south of Changjiang River, it was called Changnantown. Later, it was called Xinping town and Fuliang town. It was not until theNorthern Song Dynasty that Zhao Heng, Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty,decided that Zhongying celadon was imperial porcelain because he saw the placeof origin of the celadon. Every batch of porcelain made by the craftsmen wasdecorated with "Jingde year system", so the imperial court called the place oforigin of this kind of porcelain "Jingdezhen". “圆器”,景德镇的瓷业专用术语,见《景德镇陶录》。指可在陶轮上拉坯成型的盘
碗杯碟等。景德镇制做圆器分大小二件,大作制做一尺至二三尺大器坏件,小作制做一尺以下小器坯件。制坯后须经过阴干、刮坯、修坯、施釉、装匣、满窑、烧窑等工序,始能成器。而古窑中的圆器作坊就是生产圆器的手工作坊,该作坊完整的呈现了从制坯到施秞的全部工序。在历史上,圆器行是景德镇从业者最多的一个行帮,完全由都昌籍人士控制,而景德镇的城市居民中以都昌籍的最多,这也是圆器业在整个景德镇陶瓷生产所占地位的生动体现。
琢器作坊
“琢器”,同“圆器”一样,是在陶瓷造型上的一种分类,属立体造型,如尊、瓶、罐等。琢器是旧时景德镇制瓷业两大系列之一,其产品既有圆形,又有异形,既有日用瓷,也有陈设瓷,它的产品不仅与园器有别,就连坯房布局、工种称谓、生产工艺、行规习俗等也与园器迥然不同,都有着自己的独特之处。琢器行在从业人数上少于圆器行,基本由抚州籍人士控制,而祖籍抚州的景德镇市民亦不在少数。在古窑中的琢器作坊人们可以完整的领略到琢器的制造过程。琢器作坊
琢器跟圆器最大的区别就是生产圆器业所不能制造的,如汤匙、带柄茶碗、茶壶、肥皂盒等,琢器业下有粉定、大件、官盖、描坛、淡描、滑石、雕削等七个子行业,初年,景德镇总商会对圆琢二器所属的子行业作了调整,规定:一非圆器之器形,二非用圆器之生产工艺的异形品种,全部归属琢器业。于是一些既非圆器、又非琢器的博古、针匙、灯盏等业均为琢器行业,抗争前后出现的电瓷、卫生瓷、纺织瓷等,也归属了琢器业。由于琢器行业跟圆器不同,它生产的工艺、工人的工种也是不同的,比如讲有打杂工搞泥巴的,另外还有二码头、三码头、装坯工,他主要器形的两个人,一个是做坯的,一个是利坯的,它没有印坯这个工种也没有刹合坯这个工种,它的泥巴由打杂工搞好后,做坯工做好,做好后,那么二码头、三码头就捧去晒,把坯整整好,要上釉了,这都是由二码头、三码头、装坯工来完成,装坯工不仅要装坯,而且要负责里面的荡釉,码头工要做利坯工,做坯工所有以外的杂事,全部承包下来,其中三码头是最累的工种,要挑水,挑坯,所以过去有名行话叫“码头工要累的做牛叫”,所以琢器与圆器不同的地方在这里,它请工辞工也和圆器不同,琢器一般都为小窑户,老板没有请多少工人,都是由老板自己去请,请好了以后,有个介绍人,三个人上茶馆去吃泡茶,吃泡茶就算定事,定了事以后,你就到我这里来做事,琢器老板对工人也很尊重的,夏天有泡茶、冬天有热水洗脸,老板要做好饭给工人吃,很尊重工人劳动。

洪岩仙境,位于乐平市东北部,其自然风光奇特,人文历史深厚,旅游资源丰富,距瓷都景德镇48公里,离中国第一画里乡村婺源80公里,至三清山公只需2小时路程,距龙虎山120公里离庐山200公里。周边旅游资源丰富,且风格各异。
洪岩仙境风景区距景德镇市区约50公里,距乐平市区38公里,毗邻婺源、德兴两县市,属国家AAAA级旅游景区,江西省重点风景名胜区、省级森林公园和景德镇市最佳十景之一。
境内拥有从多自然、生态、人文景观,如鬼斧神工、堪称溶洞四绝的“洪岩仙境”;丹桂飘香、怪石嶙峋,藤穿石、石抱树的“石林峰谷”;建于明万历20__年,终年水花飞溅的“铁井飞泉”;雍正皇帝御赐“世德、流光”四字的“项家庄古祠堂”;更有“一门四进士,一相两尚书”的洪公气节和《容斋随笔》的巨献,是集旅游观光、休闲养生、商务度假、爱国主义教育等功能为一体的佳境。
洪岩仙境是一亿多年前中生代形成的壶天灰岩溶洞,整个景区面积达4万平方公里,洞室面积达10万平方米,洞长20__余米。洞中石钟乳遍布上下,错落有致,晶莹绚丽,美不胜收,千姿百态,鬼斧神工。出生在这里的南宋名臣洪皓(其二十八代世孙为太平天国领袖洪秀全)游后留下千古绝唱,“有此乾坤有此岩,谁知仙境在人间”的千古绝唱。
名口老街,位于乐平市区东南向44公里的乐安河北岸,?晨谡蛘?府所在地。乐安河是古徽州进入饶州及鄱阳湖主要水路通道之一,名口镇以下河道陡然变得深阔,上游的大宗木竹、山货、下游的日用百货都在这里驳运集散,优越的地理位置使这里成为乐安河东入乐平的第一重镇。唐天佑年(920___年),许氏自河南迁此,现有1300户,5500余人。老街区有两个中心,一是十字区,保留有南北杂货、医药、染布、衙讼、造香、制牌、锻铁等20余家老店铺以及20余幢老民宅。二是广场区,这里周边也保存了一些祠堂、村塾堂、水塘等公众场所。十字街区和广场街区有7条纵向巷道连接河边的7座古码头,码头台阶在60至80级不等,可想当年航运之繁荣。
村中现保存较好的古建筑中,当属两座老祠堂和一座村塾堂,其中以“高阳祠”许氏大总祠著称,该祠是明初洪武帝爱将许瑗大将军建造,祠堂用材硕大,石、木、砖并用,气势宏伟,楼阁、庭院设计巧妙,斗拱、藻井装饰考究,中堂屏壁后背仍保留着明洪武至清嘉庆许氏先祖的功贺匾文十余幅,弥足珍贵。高阳祠总占地1300平方米,为庭院式建筑,门口有两口清塘,环境优雅。
