Should students do housework?We had a discussion about it last Monday at class meeting.
Seventy percent of my classmates said students should do housework. They believed doing housework could teach them how to look after themselves and it could help develop their Independence. Besides, their parents would have more time to rest. However, thirty percent of my classmates thought students shouldn't do housework because might waste their time. They should spend more time on schoolwork in order to get good grades.I agree with most of my classmates. In my opinion ,the earlier we learn life skills, the better it is for our future.

I don’t agree with the idea of sending kids to after-school classes. Because all these activities can cause a lot of stress for children. It’s not good for a child’s development.
In my opinion, kids should have time to relax and think for themselves, too. I think it’s better that parents shouldn’t compare their children with other children. It’s crazy and not fair. Perhaps parents should let their kids be kids. Although it’s normal to want successful children, it’s even more important to have happy children.
