摘要：The method involves cutting an opening (11) in a connection bar (5) at the levelof an orifice to be punched, where the bar made of insulating material is connected toinner and outer metal portions (2, 3) of a section (1) by setting. A punching matrix (13) isintroduced into a space (8) enclosed by the opening. The orifice is punched using thematrix, and the matrix is withdrawn from the opening. The opening is formed such thatlongitudinal edges (12) of the opening are close to end edges (6', 7') of ribs (6, 7) of themetal portions, and the ribs form a punching anvil for the bar. An independent claim isalso included for a sash frame.
