摘要：Waterproof wound dressings may comprise a waterproof enveloping tube (1) ofa flexible plastic material to be pulled over the wounded body part, which is provided onits open pulled-over end (2) with a deformable, water-impermeable sealing strip thatpermits complete sealing thereof. In order to facilitate easy manufacture, application andrepeated use of such a wound dressing, the sealing strip is an elastic wrapping bandage(4) which is fitted on the open pulled-over end (2) of the enveloping tube (1), whoselength is a multiple of the opening width of the pulled-over end (2) and which is providedat its free end (4') with closure means (e.g. 6) which keep together the ready-wrappedbandage and the end of the enveloping tube (2) wrapped by it.
