摘要：A method is disclosed for producing composite, hollow fibre gas separationmembranes (34). The external surfaces of the porous hollow fibre tubes that are used inthe construction of the membranes (34) are subjected to a modification technique before
the external surfaces are coated with a thin layer of selected polymer so as to increasethe number of pores in the fibre surface. The modification technique comprises the stepsof soacking the membranes with a mixture of water and acetone, rinsing with water anddrying the membrane. The composite hollow fibre membranes (34) may be used in amethod of manufacturing a gas separation module (32).
