摘要：An apparatus and method for treating a patient suffering from motion sicknesssuch as air sickness and the like. The method includes the steps of applying electrodes tothe vestibular area of the patient's head and providing current pulses in the currentrange of 0.5-3.8 mA, the pulses having a frequency in the range of 1-5 pulses per secondand a pulse width in the range of 100-200 msec. The apparatus comprises a timinggenerator for determining pulse frequency, an impulse generator for generating a pulsewaveform, an impulse former for controlling pulse shape and a driver stage fordeveloping current pulses to be applied to the electrodes.
