摘要：A plurality of recording media is housed in a recording medium reproducingdevice so that the medium can be exchanged during reproduction. A recording mediumhousing section (21) houses a plurality of recording media. A first transferring meanstransfers the recording media between the outside of an enclosure and the housingsection (21), and a second transferring means transfers the recording media between thehousing section (21) and a reproducing means. The first and second transferring meansare positioned at different heights. The housing section (21) is moved in the verticaldirection by a number of stages which is larger than the stages at which the recordingmedia are housed in the housing section (21) so as to match the positions of a medium tothe first or second transferring means.
