摘要：Problem to be solved: to improve the viscosity (torque restraining force) whileincreasing the viscosity of the base oil and to obtain a biodegradable grease excellent inheat resistance. The present invention includes a copolymer (b) satisfying the followingrequirements (B1) to 90 mass% or less, and the following requirements (B1) to (B3),wherein the mass (a) of the base oil (a) is 40% by mass, 50% by mass or less, and theweight reducing agent (c) is 5% by weight or greater, 20% by mass or less; (c) = 100mass%. A grease having a mass ratio of (b) of mass (& lsqb; b) of 1 \\/ 20 to 50 \\/ 5 isobtained. (B1) comprising a unit (a) derived from ricinoleic acid, a constituent unit (b)derived from aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and a constituent unit (c) derived from diol of 2 to10 carbon atoms; (B2) when the total of the constituent units (a), (b) and (c) is 100 mol%,the content of the constituent unit (a) is 20 to 90 mole%, the composition of the unit (b) is5 to 40 mol%, and the content of the constituent unit (c) is 5 to 40 mol%; (B3) the limitingviscosity [iv] is in the range of 0.2 to 1.0 DL \\/ g.
