摘要:The steering control system uses three-dimensional cartography to define thedemultiplication ratio of the steering linkage. This varies as a function of the longitudinalspeed (V) of the vehicle, and also the angle of rotation (alpha) of the steering wheel Thesteering comprises wheel actuators (1,2) which are controlled by signals established by acomputer (3). The computer calculates these signals using a three-dimensional
cartography system defining the demultiplication ratio of the linkage, as a function of thelongitudinal speed (V) of the vehicle, and the angle of rotation (alpha) of the steeringwheel. In the course of successive iterations (i), the longitudinal speed (V) and thesteering wheel angle of rotation (alpha) are sampled, and the demultiplication ratiocalculated in the course of each of these iterations. The cartography is established in sucha way that, for each value of the angle of rotation of the steering wheel, the relationbetween the longitudinal speed of the vehicle and the demultiplication ratio (R) follows acurve with a non-zero derivative.
