摘要：A method of making a multi ply tissue paper web. The tissue web (10) is wounda plurality of revolutions in a helical manner to form a tube-like shape (12) or
alternatively the shape of a flattened tube, in which the edges (11) of the tissue web ofadjacent revolutions are partly overlapping, located substantially edge to edge or arelocated a small distance apart. The thus formed tube is then flattened to form a double-or multiply web (13). Alternatively tissue web is pulled out in the form of a helicallytwisted tube (15) from the centre of a centre-fed roll (14) of web material, andsubsequently flattening the tube.
